A bunch of hawthorn stems, harvested from Dormouse Wood and allowed to dry naturally.

You will receive 8 - 10 pieces of varying size.

NOTE: They may have some residual leaves and berries attached. These are likely to fall naturally over time. If you have children or pets I would advise you to remove the berries as a precaution. They are not poisonous, you can make hawthorn jelly from them and they have long been used in alternative remedies but raw they could cause stomach upsets.

As you can see from the images, the hawthorn is a heavily thorned shrub. It should be handled carefully to avoid the spikes and again, kept well away from children and pets.

The images show not only examples of our dried hawthorn but pictures of hawthorn growing in Dormouse Wood. You can see it at various times of year: during the spring, heavy with may flowers; glowing with scarlet berries in autumn; and with plum dark berries in winter.
