Do we actually have Dormice in Dormouse Wood?
Yes, we believe so.
Previous owners have reported finding nests.
The South Downs National Park say Dormice are active in the area and that the wood is an ideal location, with all the right food sources (hazelnuts, blackberries etc.) and the wood has connectivity with other suitable Dormouse habitats.
