Twenty assorted pine and spruce. A lovely mix of our cones.

Perfect for home decorating in any season, not only during autumn or at Christmas. The cones are wonderful additions to wreaths, garlands or table centrepieces. The variation in size, texture and colours makes it easy to create something beautiful. Even simply displaying them in a pretty bowl or vase brings in a welcome touch of nature. The sample table decoration shown, uses a selection of the pine and spruce cones, combined with a candle surrounded by preserved litchen, some moss covered sticks, naturally dried keys from hornbeam trees, plus a sprig of field maple leaves, preserved in glycerine. NOTE: only the pine and spruce cones are included.

Dormouse Wood is mainly a broadleaf wood but it is also home to a couple of sections of pine and conifer. These provide some wonderful cones. Be aware that the spruce cones are more delicate than pine or fir cones (which are woodier) so you will want to treat these with a bit of care to keep them looking good for the years to come.
