Moss & Lichen Covered Sticks
Selected moss and lichen covered sticks, in differing sizes and shapes. Some are straight, some curved, some forked. The variations are almost endlesss.
All the sticks have beautiful moss and lichen growing on them, varying with every stick - each one, however small, is unique.
The sticks are mainly ash and hazel. They are dry and ready to use.
As these are fallen sticks some are stronger than others. If you need sticks with significant strength (e.g. to hold weight) please email hello@dormousewood.co.uk.
You can also see images of how I occasionally find piles of such sticks on the woodland floor. This is usually either after a tree has fallen, or very bad weather. Generally, the sticks are simply scattered as they fall. I collect some of most attractive each time I visit Dormouse Wood.
Average stick length and number of sticks per pack:
Extra Small: 3cm up to 12cm long (20 - 25 sticks per pack) NOTE: Extra Small sticks are only suitable if you need tiny pieces. However their diminutive size is perfect for many craft projects.
Small: up to 25cm long (20 per pack)
Medium: up to 50cm long (10 per pack)
Large: up to 95cm long (10 per pack)
If you need chunky sticks i.e. sticks with a greater diameter, up to about 95cm long, these are listed separately - search for ‘chunky sticks’.
