Tiny, individually collected pieces of lichen, without any sticks. Look closely to appreciate the incredible variation of tones, shapes and textures.

Ideal for many uses, including crafts, wreaths, creating terrariums and mounting air plants.

The lichen has been allowed to dry naturally without processing. If wetted again it will soften and revive.

The average size of an individual piece of lichen varies, from around that of a five pence piece, up to a maximum of 3 - 4cm.

It takes a long time to collect the lichen as it needs to be searched out on the woodland floor one tiny piece at a time. For that reason I only sell it in small amounts and the price is slightly higher to reflect the effort that went into harvesting it.

To give you an indication of the amount of bark you will receive, I use a wooden bowl and add lichen until it is around 3/4 full The bowl is 19cm in diameter and 5cm deep.
