It is ideal for a Christmas tree, or at any time of year, if you have somewhere needing a dash of natural interest, fused with a touch of Japanese design. Created from a piece of dried bark with moss embellishment, the decoration features a slice of dehydrated apple, topped by a handmade paper butterfly. The butterfly is crafted from origami paper purchased from a well known Japanese store, across the street from New York’s famous Rockafeller Centre and has a striking geometric design. Colours in the paper are picked up in the choice of a the faux leather hanging cord to help create a a harmonious whole.
