A combined gift tag and hanging decoration. It is ideal for any occasion or time of year, including Christmas.

The base is an unusually shaped piece of dried bark with lots of character. It is topped with preserved moss, plus two slices of dehydrated lime. A creamy white butterfly, handmade from mulberry silk paper, is feeding. A smaller, dark green butterfly perches below.

The green butterfly is made from Japanese origami paper, bought during a trip to New York around 16 years ago. The paper has been saved until now.

The reverse of the piece is blank. Use it as is, or add your own feature, such as a message tag.
