Perfect for adding smaller sections of texture and colour to your creations, this is a literal ‘mixed bag’ to get your imagination working.

It includes one paper bag, filled with assorted small pieces of bark. While the combination varies depending on what we have available, it is likely to include bark from various conifers, plus ash, hazel, willow and occasionally other species such as silver birch and oak.

Some bark will have moss and lichen on it. Some will be flat, some curved. Some pieces will be fairly regular in shape, others will be completely irregular. Some pieces will be very small i.e. less than 1cm square, most will be larger - between 4 - 7cm, taking the longest measurement.

To give you an indication of the amount of bark you will receive, I use the wooden bowl you see in the images and fill it to a heaped level. The bowl is 19cm in diameter and 5cm deep.
